What we keep, and what we deliberately do not.
Teeth Trip is a trading name of TAKKLAND LIMITED, a company registered in the United Kingdom. This page describes what happens to what you tell us. It is written to be read, not to be defensible.
What you type about your teeth
That text is health information and we treat it as such. It is used to work out which treatments you are describing and to give you a price range, and it is kept against your conversation so a human can pick up where the assistant left off.
It is never copied into our mailing tool. The mailing list holds a first name and an email address, and nothing else.
The assistant, and who reads your messages
An automated assistant answers first, on the website, WhatsApp and Instagram, and it tells you it is automated. A real person reads the conversations and takes over when one is needed. Message content is processed by our AI provider to produce the reply.
We record the treatment type discussed and the price range quoted, because that is what running the business needs. We do not record clinical detail beyond that.
Analytics
no cookies
We count page views, planner submissions, WhatsApp taps and how far down a page people get. It is first-party and anonymous: a random identifier in your browser's own storage, no cookies, no third-party trackers, and no advertising pixel. The Meta pixel is deliberately switched off; turning it on would require asking you first and rewriting this page.
The one exception is the map on each partner clinic's card on the home page. Those are embedded from Google Maps and load as you scroll to them; Google may set its own cookies when they do.
Double opt-in, always: you ask, we email, you confirm. Service email about your own enquiry and marketing email are separate choices, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe. Sent through Brevo.
Your rights, and how to use them
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will. Email hello@teethtrip.uk and a person will answer.
If we ever ask you for an X-ray, that is special-category health data and we will ask for your explicit consent at the time, and tell you where it goes.
